Quedlinburg Germany

Quedlinburg in Germany is an old medieval town with 25 400 inhabitants and is located south west of the city Magdeburg and north of the Harz mountains. The town is set on the UNESCO world heritage list.


Some places in town are build with Romanesque architecture and you can see many half-timbered buildings and cobblestone streets.

Many people think that it is probably the most beautiful town in the Harz region and one of the most beautiful towns in Germany.

Enjoy old timber- framed architecture, small streets and Romanesque style buildings.

Go to the Schlossberg (castle hill), where you have a good view over Quedlinburg.

And visit the nearly thousand years old abbey church of St. Servatii.
