Juist - German island
Juist is a very romantic German island with many horses. It also has the only big freshwater lake of all the islands which is quite unusual. The island is 17 km long and only 900 m wide and is the longest island of the East Frisian Islands. It is located between the islands Borkum and Norderney.

On Juist cars are not allowed. The 1500 inhabitants live on tourism and the island is booked out during the high season summer months. There is no camping area and wild camping is prohibited.
The climate is good for people with breathing problems and skin diseases like neurodermitis.

How to get there
Get a train from Norddeich train station or take a ferry on the East Frisian mainland.
