How to make Bratwurst yourself
To make Bratwurst yourself is not difficult because this type of sausage is easy to handle and suitable for beginners.
You just need a few things, most of them are already in your household.- a good knife
- a few pots (bowls)
- a mincer (meatgrinder)
- ideally a sausage stuffer
A sausage stuffer is not expensive. If you don't have one then use the mincer, but it is much easier to do it with a sausage stuffer. I suggest you get one.

How To Cook Bratwurst
Three most common methods for preparing bratwurst on the grill. The trick is getting the internal temperature above 170 degrees.

600 g waxy potatoes, 400 g carrots, 1 onion, 2 tablespoons butter, 1/4 l vegetable broth, salt, pepper, 1 sp oil
600 g raw bratwürste, 1 small bunch parsley, fresh grated nutmeg
Peel the potatoes, then wash them and cut them in 2 cm sized cubes. Peel amd wash the carrots and cut them into 1 cm sized slices. Peel the onions, quarter them and cut them into fine slices.
Heat half of the butter in a pan and roast the onions in it. Add the potatoes and carrots for a short time. Add the vegetable broth, salt and pepper and cover it and let it cook in low heat for 15 Min.
Heat the oil in a pan, add the Bratwürste and let them roast for about 8 minutes until they are brown. Turn them around from time to time.
Clean the parsley and shake it dry. Cut it into small pieces, and add it with the rest of the butter to the vegetables. Add salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste and serve it to the Bratwürste.
