Borkum Germany

The German island Borkum is the largest, oldest and most western of the seven populated East Frisian island in the North Sea of Germany. It has around 31 sq/km and around 5200 inhabitants who are completely dependent on tourism.

In 2011 around 250 000 tourists were visiting Borkum.
